Approximately 11,000 people participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Oct. 9th, despite the rain. The Broward campaign raised $550,000, exceeding its goal. Kudos to all those who helped get to these numbers by both participating in the walk and contributing funds.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive 5K walk supporting the American Cancer Society's mission to fight cancer. We are as always genuinely grateful for the experience and opportunity to participate. See you next year!
Congratulations to Louis Reinstein on being selected as the recipient of the 2011 Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section's Paul May Professionalism in Practice Award.
The Paul May Award recognizes a BCBA lawyer who meets the qualifications of a Young Lawyer, has exhibited the highest degree of professionalism in accordance with BCBA Standards of Professional Conduct and the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct, has demonstrated respect for the law and preservation of decorum and integrity of the legal system, and whose conduct has enhanced the image of the legal professional, either through practice or programs and activities that educate the public about the law or the American legal system.
As part of the Florida Bar's Justice Teaching Program, Bunnell & Woulfe attorney, Louis Reinstein once again joined Judge Linda Pratt at Pioneer Middle School in Cooper City to speak about our First Amendment Rights granted in the U.S. Constitution. Their May, 2011 presentation was for Ms.Giancarlo's 6th grade students.

Congratulations to Rick Woulfe for becoming a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor extended only to 1% of the total population of lawyers in any state or province in the United States and Canada. The American College is considered to be the premier professional trial organization in America. Founded in 1950, it is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the profession. Membership is by invitation only, extended by the Board of Regents, and is considered a position of genuine honor in the legal profession.
