We represent insurers in property insurance claims, including arson, theft, casualty, business interruption, as well as other first party property insurance coverage disputes and policy mandated appraisals. In the difficult area of insurance fraud, we join our clients in fighting to prevent the wasteful payment of inflated or dishonest claims, including a special focus on working with PIP carriers and their Special Investigative Units to root out costly fraud. We are always alert to potential claims for bad faith and assist our clients in avoiding and defending claims for extra-contractual damages. We have successfully represented carriers in both first and third party bad faith suits.
